Any individual or legal entity that owns, operates or occupies an eligible building on the date the work begins and that carries out an eligible project in that building.
To qualify for the Program, a building must meet three requirements:

Any project designed to replace equipment that uses an eligible fossil fuel with electrical equipment, provided that work starts after March 31, 2017.
You must meet the minimum annual obligation1 (MAO) over the five-year period following the work completion date.(1) The MAO is the minimum annual electricity consumption of new, efficient electrical equipment.
