  • Step 1 – Present project proposal

    IMPORTANT: Before starting work, you must complete the project proposal form and send it, along with the bids for the purchase and installation of all equipment and breakdown of other estimated costs, to

    Along with the proposal, you must submit your calculation of the savings associated with the baseline scenario, which takes into account anticipated production volume and would be adopted without the financial assistance of the Program. The baseline scenario is used to calculate financial assistance.

  • Step 2 – Hydro-Québec accepts project

  • Step 3 – Submit measurement plan, if applicable

  • Step 4 – Hydro-Québec accepts measurement plan

  • Step 5 – Hydro-Québec accepts project and signs agreement

  • Step 6 – Equipment start-up

  • Step 7 – Measurements after work, if applicable

  • Step 8 – Payment of financial assistance

Frequently asked questions

To take part in the Program, you absolutely must submit your project proposal form, if required, before the work . Otherwise, your project will be refused.

Call the Industrial Systems Program’s business customer services at 1 800 463-9900, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Your request for assistance will be forwarded to a technical expert, who will call you to answer your questions and guide you through the process.

Like costs, electricity savings associated with the equipment are ineligible and must be taken out of the calculation of financial assistance under the Program.

If you don’t think you can meet the deadline set out in the agreement, please contact Hydro-Québec right away to make the necessary arrangements. Send an e-mail to the person in charge of reviewing your project before the date in question, giving the reasons for your extension request. Be sure to indicate your project number, as well as the extra time needed. Hydro-Québec will consider your request. It reserves the right to accept or refuse an extension request or to set a deadline other than the one requested. Note that you cannot ask for a second extension. Hydro-Québec will let you know by e-mail whether it accepts or refuses your extension request.
