We will then carry out further development within the portions enclosed by the dike: clearing land, stocking fish, creating nesting areas for waterfowl, etc. Without remedial measures, the bays of a reservoir are not very productive. The measures will reduce water level fluctuations, which will facilitate use of the environment by waterfowl and encourage creation of riparian habitats for land animals.
