| Access to boat launching ramps |

Where possible, we will develop boat-launching ramps near the roads built for construction work. In this way, roads leading to the ramps will be relatively short.
However, certain particularly important ramps will require construction of a few kilometres of road. These will be accessible for 4x4-type vehicles. |

We want to make sure that access to the reservoir is as safe as possible. |
We will develop short roads branching from the permanent road system, depending on the needs of users and in agreement with them. |
We want to facilitate access to certain natural lakes and to areas with high wildlife potential. |
We will relocate or replace camps affected by the project. |
In so doing, we want to encourage use of the territory. |
Before impoundment, we will clear about 1,325 ha of navigable corridors. |
We will produce a navigation map and install numbered markers. |
Many flooded trees emerge from the surface of the Eastmain 1 reservoir. Eliminating some of these trees will make it possible for hunters and fishing groups
to navigate safely. |
We will set up 15 traffic signs and 60 information signs. |
This measure will make it possible to inform users about potentially dangerous areas, hunting and fishing regulations, etc. |
We will produce information pamphlets. |
We want to provide information about:
| - |
Fishing activities (sites and species to focus on, etc.) |
| - |
Mercury levels in fish in the reservoir and neighboring lakes |
| - |
Standards for fish consumption |
