Efficient Products Program Lighting
Eligibility
Customers
- Commercial, institutional, industrial and agricultural customers, except those who pay Rate L, are eligible.
Note: Customers of municipal and off-grid systems are also eligible for the Efficient Products Program.
General conditions
- You must replace lighting products with more efficient products.
Note: Replacement products must appear on the List of Eligible Lighting Products.
- You must buy replacement products from an Efficient Products Program partner
Note: If you have purchased the lighting products from a master electrician, you must provide proof that the master electrician purchased it from a participating distributor.
- You must install the lighting products
- within six months of purchase
- in an existing building or other premises located in Québec
- Each rebate request must be for at least $100.
Note : You can combine your bills for efficient products over a maximum of 12 months from the date of the first purchase.

Eligibility period
Lighting products must be purchased and installed between September 30, 2005, and December 31, 2010, except that
- efficient halogens, U-bend T-8 fluorescents and 2 and 3 ft T-8 fluorescents must be purchased and installed between June 28, 2007, and December 31, 2010.
- Category 2 ballasts must be purchased and installed between August 1, 2007, and December 31, 2010.
