Eligibility requirements
- Carry out a project under a Hydro-Québec energy efficiency program between January 1, 2004, and December 31, 2007
- Achieve a specific energy savings threshold (either a number of kilowatthours or a fixed percentage)* by means of a project, or, in the case of an ENERGY WISE Citation of Excellence, rank among the top five businesses for the number of projects carried out.
The energy savings must be attributable to measures or products eligible under a Hydro-Québec energy efficiency program.

- Submit and complete at least five projects between January 1, 2004, and December 31, 2007, under the Empower Program for Building Optimization or the Empower Program for Industrial Systems
- In the case of the Empower Program for Building Optimization, be registered as a partnering professional and not submit or carry out any energy efficiency projects for own employer

- Sign a partnership agreement with Hydro-Québec
|
| Distributor (sales outlet) |
- Sign a partnership agreement with Hydro-Québec or an expression of interest in a Hydro-Québec program
- Help save at least 100,000 kWh of energy under the Efficient Products Program by selling products for which rebate applications were accepted between September 30, 2005, and December 31, 2007

| Manufacturer |
- Sign an ENERGY WISE partnership agreement with Hydro-Québec
- or
- Sign an Efficient Products Program partnership agreement
- and
- Manufacture at least one product sold by a distributor and for which a rebate application was accepted under this program

| Master electrician |
- Be a member in good standing of the Corporation des maîtres électriciens du Québec (CMEQ)
- Between January 1, 2004, and December 31, 2007
- Install at least 400 thermostats in new residential buildings
- or
- Install at least 60 thermostats in existing residential buildings
- or
- Help save at least 25,000 kWh of energy under the Efficient Products Program by selling products for which rebate applications were accepted
