Awards and Visibility
The ENERGY WISE Competition of Excellence was designed to honor the accomplishments of Hydro-Québec's customers and business partners and to publicize those achievements and the people behind them.
For business customers
ENERGY WISE Citations of Excellence
Winners of the ENERGY WISE Citation of Excellence will be honored at a special ceremony, along with any consulting partners who assisted with their projects.
The selected customers and their consulting partners will receive plaques attesting to the quality of their project. An advertisement naming the Citation of Excellence winners will be taken out in their regional newspaper and the major dailies.

ENERGY WISE Awards of Excellence
Winners
Winners in all categories will be presented with their ENERGY WISE Awards of Excellence at a special event to be held September 24.
Winners will receive a trophy designed by a Quebec artist. They will also enjoy substantial media coverage in fall 2008:
- Ads in Québec's major dailies
- TV spots on LCN
- Promotional insert in L'Actualité
- Ads in trade journals
- Promotion on the Web
Grand prize and Special prize
At the same event, a special prize will be given to a someone who has made an outstanding contribution in the field of energy efficiency and the 2008 grand prize winner will be announced. The grand prize winner is chosen from among the winners in all categories.
All finalists will be invited to the award ceremony and named in an advertisement placed in Québec's major daily newspapers.
