Street and traffic light outages

Reporting an outage outside of your home or business premises

• If the outage was caused by a fire or traffic accident:
  Immediately call 911 and describe the situation. The appropriate authorities will be alerted and will notify Hydro-Québec. Never approach a broken power line.
• If the outage affects a level crossing or traffic light:
  Please call 911.
• If the outage affects highway lighting:
  Call 511 to report the outage to the ministère des Transports du Québec.
• If the outage affects street lighting (other than on a highway):
  Please contact the municipality (In French only).
