To maintain sufficient supply for the current loads stemming from the 69/25 kV Montmorency substation, Hydro-Québec is planning to construct the 315/25kV Lefrançois substation in L'Ange-Gardien, and build a transmission line to connect the substation to the transmission grid.
Hydro-Québec is carrying out draft-design studies for the construction of Lefrançois substation and its connection to the transmission system.
