Saint-Robert-Bellarmin

Bolduc substation, Saint-Martin

The Saint-Robert-Bellarmin wind farm project, developed by Saint-Laurent Énergies, is the result of the relocation of the Aguanish wind farm project, which was accepted following Hydro-Québec's second call of tenders for the purchase of wind power. It will feature the same number of wind turbines and installed capacity as the original project. The modification was approved by the Régie de l'énergie on January 22, 2010.

To bring the 80-MW output from the future wind farm onto its transmission grid, Hydro-Québec must build a new 120-kV single-circuit line about 38 km long between the developer's substation in Saint-Robert-Bellarmin in the Le Granit RCM, to Hydro-Québec's Bolduc substation in Saint-Martin in the Beauce-Sartigan RCM. It must also make modifications to Bolduc substation to accommodate the line.
