In cooperation with its partners, Hydro-Québec offers educational activities on energy, the environment and sustainable development to teachers and young people between the ages of 10 and 16.
For teachers
You'll find three learning tools at www.hydroquebec.com/learning.
- Envirovolt Toolkit1 - Also distributed in day camps, this toolkit invites young people to build the ideal power system, with the least possible impact on plants, wildlife and humans.
- Blue Water = Green Energy Conference - While exploring nature, pupils in grades 6 and 7 and students in high school gain a better understanding of energy and environmental issues.
- Les Zénergétics Toolkit2 - Kids in grades 5 and 6 become apprentice reporters and use games and surveys to produce a story on how to use energy without harming the planet!

A game for the whole family!
"Are you sustainable?" - This online1 game teaches kids about sustainable development. It increases their awareness of the challenges of energy consumption in Québec and North America, and helps them integrate this knowledge into their daily lives.
After successfully completing the three parts of the game, participants can enter the "$500 to play outside"2 contest to win great prizes such as two $500 gift certificates for purchases in a sports or outdoors store, and 50 sustainability kits valued at $40 each.
