How good is your home's thermal envelope?

To properly answer this question, you need to know a lot about the thermal envelope of a house. Thanks to EnerGuide for Houses,1 that expertise is at your door. Expert advisors mandated by Québec's Agence de l'efficacité énergétique (AEE) can recommend improvements that will give you concrete results.

What do EnerGuide advisors do?

To help you improve the energy efficiency of your home, EnerGuide advisors will:
  1. Evaluate your home and give it an EnerGuide rating, for a reasonable fee (suggested price of $149.952 plus tax for an averagesized house)
  2. Determine the work necessary to increase the energy efficiency of your home
  3. Provide you with a recommendations report
  4. Conduct a second evaluation at no cost to determine the new rating for your dwelling, after the work has been done. The bigger the difference in your rating, the bigger the grant you may qualify for.
Is my house eligible?
