For maximum efficiency and to keep food fresh, set your fridge temperature anywhere from 1.7ºC to 3.3ºC, and the freezer compartment at -18ºC.

Energy-saving tip

Make sure the freezer door gasket is clean and seals tightly. To check the seal, close the door on a sheet of paper; the paper should stay in place. If you can pull it out easily, the door gasket needs replacing.
