According to the Act respecting Access to documents,* only the account holder, the co-account holder or a third party** duly authorized by proxy or written consent can access customer information. Completely confidential
Before disclosing any confidential information, Hydro-Québec's authorized personnel must first ask questions to allow them to establish the identity of the person seeking the information. In this way, Hydro-Québec protects the confidentiality of all of our customers and complies with current legal requirements.
