This is how.
- Be sure that you have your electricity bill in hand.
- Call RECYC-FRIGO at 1 877 493-7446 (49FRIGO) or apply online.
Your old fridge will be picked up free of charge. To qualify, the appliance to be recycled must be at least 10 years old and meet these three conditions:
- Have a capacity of 10-25 cu ft
- Be in working order
- Be plugged in at the time of pickup
Get $60 and use less electricity!
Once your qualified appliance has been picked up, you'll receive a $60 cheque from Hydro-Québec in the mail. And since at least 95% of the material in each appliance is recycled, you're helping protect the environment at the same time.
Go for ENERGY STAR!
If you replace your old fridge, be sure to choose an ENERGY STAR qualified model for greater efficiency and savings.
