Starting in spring 2012, electric vehicle drivers will have peace of mind knowing that a public network of charging stations will be available to meet their needs.
While basic recharging is generally done at home or at work, electric vehicle drivers will be able to access the public charging stations of a network called the Electric Circuit to meet their backup and emergency needs.
Initially, some one hundred 240-V stations will be available in several parking lots of the network’s founding partners in the greater Montréal and Québec metropolitan areas: RONA, St-Hubert Restaurants, METRO and the Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT).
New locations and cities, additional 240-V stations and quick-charge 400-V stations will gradually be added to the network as electric vehicles arrive on the Québec market.
