Who can access customer information?

Only the account holder or coholder or a third party* duly authorized by proxy or written consent is allowed to have access to customer information.

One of our customer service representatives will be happy to assist you. But first, to comply with the law,** you'll be asked some questions to verify your identify.

In this way, Hydro-Québec protects the privacy of all its customers, while at the same time fulfilling its legal obligations.

Want to grant access to someone?

Fill in the special form:

  • a)Access to the electronic version of the form, or
  • b)Call Services à la clientèle [customer services] at the number in the lower left-hand corner of your bill and ask to have the form mailed to you.

* Spouse, accountant or lawyer, for example.
** Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information.
