Abitibi-Témiscamingue

• Première-Chute generating station: Diaphragm walls were used here for the first time in North America.

Baie-James

• Robert-Bourassa generating facility: The biggest underground power­house in the world!
• La Grande-1 generating station: Imposing and majestic, made of 640,000 m³ of concrete - enough to build a sidewalk from Montréal to Miami.

Côte-Nord

• Manic-2 generating station: A single one of the eight generating units in this powerhouse weighs as much as 100 elephants.
• Daniel-Johnson dam and Manic-5 generating station: The highest multiple-arch-and-buttress dam in the world. The building at 1, place Ville-Marie could stand in its main vault.

Îles-de-la-Madeleine

• Îles-de-la-Madeleine generating station: Québec's biggest thermal generating station, right in the middle of the Golfe du Saint-Laurent (Gulf of St.Lawrence).

Mauricie

• Cité de l'énergie and Shawinigan-2 generating station: Among the top 25 Canadian engineering achievements of the 20th century. 
• Saint-Narcisse generating station: A perfect outdoor place for family activities in Parc de la Rivière-Batiscan.
