You could, for instance, head to the North Shore, 212 kilometres from Baie-Comeau, and be awed by Manic-5 generating station and Daniel-Johnson dam, the largest multiplearch-and-buttress dam in the world.
Or you could take the James Bay highway to Radisson and tour the Robert-Bourassa generating facility with its dam, “giant's staircase” and magnificent powerhouse located 140 metres underground, like a cathedral carved into bedrock.
