Want to take advantage of the new program?
Here are the eligibility criteria:
a) Each participant must
- be a Québec resident* and
- own the appliance to be recycled.
b) Each appliance must
- be over 10 years old;
- be working, plugged in and producing cold air at the time of pick-up;
- be accessible and easily moved to the collection truck and
- have a capacity of 10 to 25 cu. ft.
c) There's a limit of 2 appliances per address.

What happens when you sign up?
- You will be given a date when your appliance will be picked up. Collection begins March 31, 2008.
- After pick-up, you'll receive $60 per eligible appliance by mail.
The environment WINS!
The appliance will be dismantled and 95% of it recycled. Hazardous material will be disposed of in environmentally safe ways that exceed current regulatory standards.
