The personal information in each customer’s file is strictly confidential.

According to the Access Act,* only the account holder, the co-account holder or another person duly authorized by proxy or by written or oral consent can access customer information.

  • To allow a third party to access your data or deal with Hydro-Québec on your behalf, you must fill out the appropriate forms.
  • Visit Consent to disclosure and proxy page. You can also call customer services at the number on your bill.

Completely confidential

Before disclosing any confidential information, Hydro-Québec’s authorized personnel must first ask questions to allow them to establish the identity of the person seeking the information.

In this way, Hydro-Québec protects the confidentiality of all customers and complies with legal requirements in effect.
