When you hire a master electrician, you are opting for compliance, safety and peace of mind. Under the provisions of the Québec Building Act, electrical equipment must be installed by a certified member of the Corporation des maîtres électriciens du Québec (CMEQ). For a list of master electricians who are taking part in the Electronic Thermostats Program, see the Répertoire on the CMEQ Web site.
Thermostat installation must comply with CSA standards and Chapter V, Electricity, of the Québec Construction Code (load, conductor gauge, protective devices, etc.).
To be covered by warranty, thermostats must also be installed according to the manufacturers' technical specifications.
Compliant installation is safe installation!
Save from every angle!
When you have a master electrician install your electronic thermostats, you'll receive a mail-in rebate of up to $65 on top of a rebate of up to $65 on the purchase.
