KP 110.3 Weir

This weir is located 110.3 kilometres from the mouth of the Rupert River, in rapids that drop several metres over a long distance.

Objectives	Project aquatic grass beds. Preserve the area used by Canada geese during spring migration. Protect fishing and goose hunting areas.
Movement of fish	Natural impassable obstacle.
Approximate area of influence, going upstream	14.7 km.
Date as of which the water level will be substantially maintained	Once the spring instream flow is downramped, after the diversion bays are impounded in November 2009.
