Hydro Projects and Fish Communities
Knowledge acquired about reservoirs and powerhouse operations
All new hydro projects entail environmental studies, mitigation and compensation measures, and several years of follow-up studies. The environmental issues and fish communities involved differ for each project.
This section provides bibliographic references for technical reports and abstracts. In most cases, we have listed the summary version of the report. Note that some of the studies do not fall within the usual scope of hydropower projects. The studies are grouped by location.
