Since 1988, Hydro-Québec has regularly measured overall public satisfaction with its projects and operations. The highest-rated aspects in the past few years include its economic leadership (profitability and contribution to the economic development of Québec and all its regions), as well as its growth and profit objectives.

For a number of years, the proportion of people who say they are very or quite satisfied with Hydro-Québec has remained relatively stable at around 92%. The percentage of those who were very satisfied rose significantly in 2007, to 36%, after declining in 2004, 2005 and 2006. |

Since 2005, Hydro-Québec has measured the public's perception of its sustainability performance. The quarterly rating has gradually risen since the second quarter of 2006, and averaged 7.2 for 2007 overall (7.0 in 2006). |
