- Collaboration with the organizations and government departments concerned to provide support in managing the annual caribou hunt (a source of major economic spinoffs for some local businesses) and to ensure the safety of employees and third parties during the hunting season.
- Financial contribution to a scientific study on the health and movements of caribou herds in this region.

- Collaboration and joint efforts with ComaxNORD and local businesses, leading to major economic spinoffs from the construction of Eastmain-1 powerhouse and the related substation and line projects. Efforts are now focused on the Eastmain-1A–Rupert diversion project.
