Video: The Chamouchouane project in the Lanaudière and Laurentides regions

Welcome to the jobsite!

Construction site manager David Veilleux-Spénard takes us around the southern segment of the Chamouchouane project in the Lanaudière and Laurentides regions.

From Rawdon to Terrebonne, the new power transmission line will run along an existing line for over 150 km.

Up to 250 workers will be mobilized in late 2017 for this phase of the project. Each of the 115 towers represents a sizeable challenge of its own . . . Welcome to the jobsite!

Approximately 14 kilometres of the line route crosses the Rivière-du-Nord and Thérèse-de-Blainville MRCs, in section 5.

Clearing work in the Laurentides region ended in spring 2016.
