Request pertaining to safety, vegetation, work, servitudes and clearance standards near power lines
Choose the picture that best represents the power line associated with your request.
Overhead distribution lines consist of wires supported by utility poles about 10 metres (30 feet) high. These poles are most often made of wood but are sometimes concrete.
Transmission lines are operated at much higher voltages than distribution lines. The towers may be made of metal lattice, concrete or wood, and they come in various shapes and heights (from 14 m to over 100 m).
