KP 290 Weir

This structure is located 290 km from the mouth of the Rivière Rupert, downstream of its confluence with the Rivière Lemare.

Objectives	Preserve recreation and tourism activities. Preserve the landscape. Protect hunting and fishing areas.
Movement of fish	Fish can circulate freely.
Approximate area of influence, going upstream	5 km in the Rivière Rupert. 2 km in the Rivière Lemare.
Date as of which the water level will be substantially maintained	Late fall 2010.
