Public participation

To ensure dialogue with the community, Hydro-Québec will implement a public participation and consultation process. Public expectations and concerns will thus be taken into account in view of harmonizing the project with the surrounding environment to the greatest extent possible.

Hydro-Québec has also partnered with the Ville de Montréal and its Irish community by creating a task force to develop a site commemorating the 6,000 Irish immigrants who died of typhus in 1847.

Invitation to an open house meeting

Hydro-Québec invites the public to meet with its representatives
and learn about the project at an open house meeting to be held on:

Thursday March 22, 2018, from 3 to 8 p.m.
in the basement of Saint-Gabriel church
2157 rue Centre

Hydro-Québec representatives will inform residents about the proposed project,
answer any questions residents may have and gather their comments.
