More accessible than ever
Many people consider the undergrounding of power lines and other cable systems to offer a better quality of life, an attractive environment and greater safety. Underground lines mean a more visually appealing lanscape, better use of space and no power interruptions due to inclement weather.

Hydro-Québec's programs are helping make undergrounding a more affordable option, by promoting undergrounding in general and responding to new community concerns.
