1. EPP section
This section tracks the difference between the cost of your actual consumption and the total amounts billed.
It shows the following details:
Monthly installment
(before taxes)
Previous difference
(shown on your previous bill)
Current difference
(difference between your actual consumption and the installment payable for the current period)
New difference
(sum of the previous difference and the current difference)

2. Consumption information
This section provides the breakdown of your consumption for the billing period.

For residential customers, the following rates apply:
Rate D
applies to most residential customers
Rate DM
applies to customers in multiple-unit buildings who opted for joint metering rather than individual metering
Rate DT
is the rate applicable to homes equipped with dual-energy systems

A daily subscription charge, i.e. a set amount that you pay daily independently of electricity consumption.

Total energy consumption during the period in kWh.

A rate for the first 30 kWh that you consume each day.
Price of the first 30 kWh that you consume each day as of April 1, 2010: $0.0545/kWh

Price for your remaining energy consumption as of April 1, 2010: $0.0751/kWh

Apparent power
Your highest power demand, in kVA.

90% of your highest power demand in kVA. The result is expressed in kW.

Real power
Your maximum power demand, in kW.

Billing demand
The demand used to calculate your bill: Either the maximum demand for the period or the minimum billing demand, whichever is higher. It's the portion exceeding 50 kW that is billed.
Price of power per kW (per month), as of April 1, 2010:
Exceeding 50 kW in winter (December 1 to March 31): $6.21/kW
Exceeding 50 kW in summer (April 1 to November 30): $1.26/kW

Important dates: The EPP start or renewal date and annual review date
Calculation of monthly installment: Your monthly installment is based on your estimated consumption from the EPP start or renewal date until the review date, according to your past meter readings and consumption habits.
