CFLPractical tips
  • Outdoors: Use CFLs in sealed, weatherproof fixtures in order to optimize their service life. Check the package to be sure that the bulb can withstand winter conditions.

  • Dimmer (continuous or three-stage) or timer: Check the package carefully, because you need special models for these uses.

  • Check the height of the bulb (ballast included), to make sure it doesn't go beyond your fixture.
