Is your current bill higher than the previous one or the one for the same period last year? It may simply be because a few more days were included in the billing period.

The tool below will help you determine your average daily consumption for comparison purposes.

Referring to your current bill:

  • Enter the total consumption in Box A
  • Enter the number of days included in the billing period in Box B

Your consumption for the past year is shown under the "Previous consumption" heading on your bill. Select the period you want to compare with, then

  • Enter the total consumption in Box C
  • Enter the number of days included in the billing period in Box D

If your average daily consumption has increased or decreased, it's because certain factors have changed. For example, perhaps the temperature has been a lot warmer or cooler.
