Who can access your information?

This is the time of year when many people move and need to call us about their account.

One of our representatives will be happy to assist you. But first, you will be asked some questions as a way of verifying your identify. This is because under the Act respecting access,* only the account holder or coholder or a third party** duly authorized by proxy or written consent may have access to customer information.

In this way, Hydro-Québec protects the privacy of all its customers while at the same time fulfilling its legal obligations.

How can you grant access to someone?

  • Fill the online Form or
  • Call Services à la clientèle [customer services] at the number in the lower lefthand corner of your bill and ask to have a printed form sent to you.
