Pool safety

To enjoy hours of fun, take these safety tips.

  • Keep electrical devices at least 1.5 m away from the water, and use battery-operated equipment as much as possible.
  • Make sure that the outlet has a ground-fault circuit interrupter if you need to plug in an electrical device near the pool.
  • Check the filtration system power cord. Make sure it's in good condition and the ground prong is not bent or removed.
