Windows and patio doors

Which will you choose?

Time to change your windows or patio doors?

To pick the most efficient products, follow these four steps.

1. Look for the ENERGY STAR® label

The label confirms that the products are 20 to 40% more efficient than conventional ones. Year after year, you'll save up to 10% on your heating bill.

2. Know your climate zone

You'll find this information on the ENERGY STAR label. Québec is divided into three zones: B, C and D. Determine yours. Some models cover more than one zone.

3. Opt for the highest ER

The ENERGY STAR qualification is based on an energy rating (ER). The higher it is, the more efficient the product and the greater the savings.

4. Install with care

This is the most important step after selecting the product. Have your new purchases installed by an expert to prevent heat loss and air infiltration around the frames. Ask the sales representative for more information.
