Quarries, sand pits, disposal sites for excavated materials, contractor areas, work areas, workcamps and temporary roads will be restored.
  • Some 5.8 million shrubs will be planted.
  • About 400 ha of land will be seeded.

  • To help nature regenerate as quickly as possible.
  • To improve landscape quality.
  • When conditions permit, to create new wildlife habitat, including staging areas for migrating Canada geese.
