Hydro-Québec supports research and education, and participates in all the fundraising campaigns for Québec's universities.
Hydro-Québec has offered paid internships to university and college students for many years.

A Hydro-Québec institute for environment, development and society was created at Université Laval in 2003. |

In 2006, Hydro-Québec worked with the Université de Sherbrooke to set up an industrial chair in energy efficiency. |

Every year, internships at Hydro-Québec are offered to some 200 students, many of them in environment-related fields. |

Hydro-Québec's commitment to universities includes over $1.5 million in proficiency scholarships granted by the institutions to students every year. |
