Our Sustainable Development Plan 2024–2028 echoes the five main priorities outlined in our Action Plan 2035 – Towards a decarbonized and prosperous Québec. It also reflects the Government Sustainable Development Strategy 2023–2028 (in French only) and governmental expectations with regard to Hydro-Québec.

The Sustainable Development Plan 2024–2028 – A Responsible Energy Transition will guide the company’s various business units with respect to sustainability. Our commitments, grouped into nine themes, will integrate sustainable development into all of our operations and, in so doing, contribute to the decarbonization of Québec.

This plan is a testament to our desire to build a sustainable and responsible future for generations of Quebecers to come.

“As a United Nations Global Compact signatory, we are guided by the principles of sustainable development in the areas of human rights, labor standards, environmental protection and the fight against corruption. The Sustainable Development Plan 2024–2028 constitutes our formal pledge to integrate these fundamental principles into our development strategies, business practices and management processes.”
