Numerous projects are carried out every year, be it to maintain the system, ensure its long-term operability or to increase its capacity.

Teams plan these projects based on medium- and long-term needs, while taking into account Québec’s specific geography—a vast territory to supply—and climate.

Each project’s design is unique. Specialized teams work for many months to identify the scenario with the smallest environmental and social impact.
