Public participation is an essential part of our project planning, which is why we hold discussions with host communities.

These discussions help us better understand the local environment and optimize our projects to ensure the best possible integration of our facilities.

• Hydro‑Québec met with Îles‑de‑la‑Madeleine residents in 2022 to provide general information about the project.
• Open‑house activities were held in the fall of 2025 during which the preliminary route was presented.
• We plan to present the final line route and hold discussions with affected property owners in 2026.
