Outdoor open house on September 28, 2019

The goal of this event was to talk with the public about the following topics:

  • How will Hydro-Québec proceed with the dike repairs at Les Cèdres generating station this fall?
  • What is the function of Hydro-Québec dams, dikes and other control structures on the Fleuve Saint-Laurent?

Visitors were welcomed at the parc des Érables, in Saint-Timothée in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, where they could talk to Hydro-Québec experts about the planned work on the dike and learn more about control structures in the area.

In spite of the rain, 85 people came out to meet our representatives, walk on the dike and find out more about the project (type of work, mitigation measures, timeline, etc.).
