Orders of the Canada Energy Regulator

The Commission of the Canada Energy Regulator has modified the power line damage prevention provisions as stipulated in the National Energy Board Act. As a result, the regulations adopted under the Act (Power Line Crossing Regulations) must be updated. The regulatory development process is ongoing. As an interim measure, the Commission has issued two orders establishing certain safety requirements.
