As part of the project, Hydro-Québec launched a public participation program to maintain an ongoing dialogue with local residents, the community and representatives from various community groups. Since early 2019, we have met with representatives from:

  • The Atikamekw Council of Wemotaci
  • Ville de La Tuque
  • La Tuque economic development organizations
  • Club Moto-neige La Tuque

This allows the project team to take community concerns and expectations into account in order to adapt the project to local realities as effectively as possible.
