Electrical system upgrade in Estrie

A reliable system and a sustainable future

A plan rolled out in many stages

The electrical system upgrade in Estrie began in 2016 and will continue for several years.

System optimization requires the construction of higher voltage lines and substations. As part of the plan to modernize the system, the distribution system will be reorganized and six substations and many kilometers of 49-kV lines will be dismantled.
