Duties

Duties

• Identify, assess and prioritize risks and implement the proposed solutions, including in high-risk situations with varying degrees of complexity.
• Help diagnose issues and provide input to projections and action plan for the area, zone or administrative unit in question.
• Develop working methods and procedures, analyze problem situations and suggest solutions.

Requirements

• University degree in occupational health and safety
• In-depth knowledge of industrial hygiene an asset
• Class-5 driver’s license

Duties

• Carry out tree pruning or felling work for an arborist company authorized by Hydro-Québec to ensure the safe coexistence of trees and power lines.

Training

• A vocational diploma (DEP in Québec) in arboriculture is recommended. This training reduces the number of hours of work on the ground required before climbing. The training course is given at the following locations:
