Downstream: unpredictable churning
Downstream from a generating station, the water is agitated when the turbines are running. The water may seem calm when the turbines stop, but if they were to suddenly start up again, you wouldn’t be able to make it out of the churning waters.

- Never come near a hydroelectric generating station. It’s just like getting too close to a waterfall. Keep your distance!
