Paying your bill

There are several ways to pay your electricity bill.

Be sure to pay by the due date, allowing sufficient time for electronic, bank or postal processing. Your bill is considered to be paid on the date we receive payment.


Online

In your Customer Space

Opt for Pre-Authorized Debit or Online Payment. They’re easy, safe and quick.

Log in  

On your financial institution’s site

Most financial institutions offer online payment services. Ask your financial institution.


In person

You can pay a teller at your financial institution or pay at an automatic teller machine (ATM). Be sure to allow sufficient time for your financial institution to process your payment by the due date.


By mail

Use the return envelope that comes with your bill to send us your payment. If you are using another envelope, please send it to the following address:

Please allow sufficient time for mail processing.


Why don't you accept credit card payments?

Hydro-Québec does not accept this type of payment, chiefly because of the fees charged by credit card companies. Such fees would have an impact on the rates that all customers pay.
