Payment arrangements
If you're unable to pay your bill in full, have received a late payment notice or a notice of interruption, contact us right away to make a payment arrangement and avoid having your power cut off.
Low- or modest-income households
We may suggest a payment arrangement adapted to your situation.
What happens if you don't pay your bill?
You have 21 days from the billing date to pay your bill in full. If we have not received your payment, we will have to recover the outstanding amounts.

You can make a payment arrangement if you need to.

Notice of interruption
You still have time to make a payment arrangement.

Service interruption
Your power may be cut off if you haven't made a payment arrangement.

Service reconnection
Your service will be restored once your balance has been paid in full.
These steps are intended merely as guidelines; we always proceed on a case-by-case basis. Note that we may refer your account to a debt collection agency, as needed.

Hydro‑Québec's customer services may call you if your bill is past its due date.
Our representatives will first identify themselves, then confirm your identity to access your customer file and suggest a payment arrangement.
Should you have any doubts as to the call's authenticity, please hang up and call our customer services directly.
You may receive an automatic email or text message to inform you or invite you to contact us. No confidential information will be requested.
If you have any questions or would like to follow up on your payment arrangement, please contact us.
You must contact the agency and continue the process directly with them.
